  We almost reconsidered going after reading some of these reviews. I am glad we did not reconsider. What a treat this place was. The moment we arrived earlier than the rest of our party we were seated. Waitress brought us drinks and bread while we waited. Once they arrived all specials were explained in detail and any questions were answered by waitress. The food did not take long to get and was amazing. You wont find a bigger or better steak and potato. Non of us drank alcohol but the waitress still made sure our drinks were never empty. The owner even stopped by our table when we were finished eating to ask how everything was. You definitely get what you pay for here!!

  I went for a Wedding Reception and the food was AMAZING. My fiancé and I are looking forward to returning. Not to mention. I had the best steak of my life.

  It could have been because the cook was having a bad night. 3 out of the 5 steaks are our table were not cooked the way we asked for them. The table behind us also had the same problem, only it was there entire table. The only thing cooked well at our table was the elk. The asparagus was under cooked. The brussel sprouts were great! The french fries were cold. The chicken had flavor but was too dry and too small for the price! They did offer to take my steak off the bill.

  The restaurant is under new management and they are just fantastic. The food is delicious and the wait staff was on their game. I have not been in quite a while, but I will be coming back. My steak was cooked perfectly. Price is equivalent to any other fine dining restaurant. And I love that they do all kinds of charity and wine tasting events. Thanks for reviving this wonderful restaurant! If you had a bad experience, I would definitely try them again since the new owners took over. I was not disappointed.

  The steak and the salmon were good. The service was not. We were a large party and we had 1 waitress/bartender for a group of nearly twenty people. The mixed drink menu was disappointing and the drinks were not very good. Stay away from anything with orange juice in it as they do not use real OJ. If I returned, Id stick to beer or wine and lower my expectations as far as service goes.
